Carlos Davis was born and raised on the beaches of South Florida. There he grew up studying monthly editions of "Vogue" and "W" that his mother had delivered to the house monthly. Carlos also eagerly awaited Saturday mornings for CNN's "Style with Elsa Klench" to see which of the 90's super models would be parading down the runways in the season's brilliant fashions from NY, London, Paris and Milan.
While in high school, Carlos started spending some time in front of the camera working as a print model and actor. After high school, Carlos was accepted into the acting program at the prestigious Neighborhood Playhouse in NY and moved there to pursue his career as an actor.
While working as a bartender in order to supplement his income, many of the patrons who worked in the fashion industry took notice of Carlos' style and he began assisting fashion stylists. Within a few months, Carlos was styling his first fashion editorial for "Elle" en Español.
Over time Carlos has worked with a large range of clients. Some of Carlos' editorial clients include international editions of Vogue, L'Officiel, Harper's Bazaar, GQ, Esquire, Dazed&Confused, Zoo, Nylon and Elle, to name a few.
His advertising and catalog clients include Pepsi, Neiman Marcus the book, Holt Renfrew, Macy's east, Bakers, JCrew, Levi's, White House Black Market, Soma Intimates and JCPenney.
Carlos has maintained Contributing Fashion Editor positions at magazines including Style MonteCarlo, Vegas, Ocean Drive and Ocean Drive en Español.
Carlos has dressed celebrities for red carpet appearances, magazines, music videos and record album covers including Brooklyn Decker, Marie Louise-Parker, Minnie Driver, Liz Hurley, Deborah Harry, Jamie Luner, Patricia Heaton, Alicia Minshew and Chris Willis.
